Piercing and Shop Policies

We require that piercing clients not have had drugs or alcohol 8 hours prior to the procedure and request that they have eaten a meal within 4 hours prior to a piercing. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of both client and piercer, as well as the healing of the piercing.

We pierce those 18+ with valid photo ID, and minors with parental consent AND corresponding IDs.

We need the ID every time you need any procedure performed, even if you have shown it on a prior occasion.

We know many people want to have memories of their visit, but filming in the piercing room is prohibited per our shop’s policies. Still photography is permitted with the consent of your piercer!

Please do not bring your pets to your appointment or walk-in! We love pets, but we only allow working animals that are specifically trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities to accompany those clients into the piercing studio. The best place for pets is always at home, as the lobby of the studio is a small and often overstimulating environment for pets, and can be disruptive for our staff and other clients.

PARENTAL CONSENT

We do not perform any oral, surface, nipple or genital piercings on minors. Cartilage (including nostril) and septum piercings are performed on qualified minors aged 13+. Navel, eyebrow, bridge, and industrial piercings are performed on qualified minors aged 16+.

In order to pierce a minor we will need their ID, showing their photo and name, as well as that of the adult signing for them. Only parents or legal guardians can sign for a minor. Legal guardians must bring paperwork showing their guardianship of the minor.

Piercing minors, including lobes for children 4+, is done on a case-by-case basis; the minor must show that they understand the responsibilities and commitment associated with the receiving and care of a piercing, they must ask us for it themselves and cannot be coerced.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF ID

Driver's License
Passport
Military ID
State ID
Citizenship card

Minors getting pierced must have one of the following acceptable forms of ID AND be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who also has legal ID:

School photo ID (or school portal that features both a photo and full name)
Work photo ID
Driver's License
State ID
Passport - this needs to be fairly recent, if the child is a baby in the photo we can’t use it
Citizenship card
Recent school yearbook

While bringing the minor’s physical ID is preferred, if they only have a digital version available we can accept a screenshot or clear photo of the ID.

Tattoo Policies

You must be 18+ with valid ID to get tattooed.

Our minimum is $100, and our hourly rate is $180 - $220 per hour.

We require that tattoo clients not have had drugs or alcohol 8 hours prior to the procedure and request that they have eaten a meal within 4 hours prior. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of both client and tattoo artist, as well as the healing of the tattoo. We need the ID every time you need any procedure performed, even if you have shown it on a prior occasion.

Outside Jewelry

We do not pierce with or install outside jewelry. This can include jewelry purchased at our location and has left the studio. This is to ensure the quality and fit of the jewelry, as well as the ability to properly sterilize it prior to use. Client health and safety is our top priority, and if we are unable to confidently confirm specific material and manufacturing criteria, we do not consider the risks worth it. We will insert jewelry into healed piercings if we can verify that it was purchased at our studio. If a piercing needs to be redone, new jewelry must be purchased.

Jewelry Return and Exchange

Per Health Board regulations, and general hygiene, we cannot accept returns or offer exchanges. We know it's nice to buy jewelry as a gift, but this can be tricky as most jewelry needs to be custom-fitted. To eliminate the issue of folks receiving items they cannot wear, we offer gift certificates for purchase to guarantee the recipient gets appropriately fitting jewelry.

We know many people want to have memories of their visit, but filming in the piercing room is prohibited per our shop policies. Still photography is permitted with the consent of your piercer!
