Andrei Baiu (he/him) - Counter Staff
Andrei joined Cold Steel America in early 2020, just a few weeks before the world went on lockdown. When the studio reopened, he trained under Danny Greenwood to learn as much as he could from her vast troves of knowledge on jewelry and materials, while also absorbing as much as he could about piercing and aftercare from Christopher Garcia and Mic Rawls. He has also occasionally assisted Paul King with projects for the Body Piercing Archive.
Andrei loves helping out with your jewelry selections, answering any questions you may have, and creating fun, safe, and informative experiences for each and every client coming in for piercings. Whether it’s your first or your fiftieth piercing, his goal is to make sure you walk away happy with your visit.
He can also assist clients in fluent Romanian and (mostly) fluent French.
As of April 2022, Andrei will no longer be working a regular schedule at Cold Steel, but you may catch him filling in shifts every few weeks or so.
